Goals
DA to share thoughts/ideas on assessment of the enlisted scenarios and discuss with RB, i.e. which scenarios should lead us to change/modification in the design system and which not.
Alignment on the best way to proceed to the MVP asap:
Are there any blockers for now that stop us from the MVP development?
What's the best way to proceed to the MVP & do some discovery-phase related background/formal work in the meantime, giving a bit more adaptive approach.
Use case scenarios discussion is important to understand the challenges and restrictions of the design system, but at this point it is a background work.
Action items
Key takeaways
- We have discussed a couple of scenarios - notes taken in the Whiteboard Tab: Design System Use Scenarios Brainstorm
- Design system governance place the weight on component-library foundations of the system, meaning that the things not affecting the components themselves do not require governance
- A detailed use-case oriented plan and ways of assesment should be created over the course of MVP creation
- Consider using a product-prioritization framework for the case of backlog prioritization (i.e. RICE/MoSCow/value vs effort)
- Data Art are ready to proceed with the development phase and will schedule a session with Nathan & Pawel to discuss priorities
