Component development workflow

Each component (from Atom up to Organism) development lifecycle should include next steps:

  1. Component design review by the developers team (DA);

  2. Pre-fill Component template (Reckitt);

  3. Component Kick-off meeting. Accessibility standards, development requirements & restrictions, component’s integrated API, risks & dependencies discussion (DA & Reckitt);

  4. Design review & amendments if required (Ekino);

  5. Component description and requirements development (DA);

  6. Documentation review & approvement (Reckitt);

  7. Component development including stories in Storybook (DA);

  8. Component testing in Storybook (DA);

  9. Bug fixes (DA);

  10. Component demo and sign off (DA & Reckitt);

  11. Add Related documentation to Storybook (DA);

Points 1-6 should be done one week earlier before the development start so that we have a backlog to work on.
