Devices' statistics overview

Strategy for testing on devices

Testing will be performed on available devices, taking into account all the outputs pointed below.

Next devices will be used for testing:

For all devices, which are mandatory due to statistics outputs, but are not available, lambda testing is presupposed.

Devices' testing priority levels

Any content should be planned, developed and integrated outside of any interface - it should be usable for any device interface. But if we’re testing physically or automatically on certain devices, we should focus on the most usable ones.

Basing on the statistics provided in chapter below the priority levels for testing on different devices were assigned.

Apple and Samsung dominate, but Xiaomi is also very close behind in third – actually leading in India.

Resolutions' support

Screen size is not the major point of concern. Design philosophy should be size agnostic. By agnostic it is meant ensuring that CSS works everywhere.

Basing on resolution statistics provided below we can assume that support for next range is required: from minimum 360x640 up to maximum 1920x1080.
