Vision:

Teams will create components style & code library with pre-defined standards, policies, access levels etc. Basic components will be developed and tested Team will create UI Component Library based on Design System standards. Component Library will consist of Atoms, Molecules and Organisms and it will be completely independent from CMS and backend.

Components are intended to be used by brand teamsdevelopment teams while developing new websites by customizing the style of the Components and by configuring available options.

Target structure:

Reckitt unified Design system, core of which is components library. All components are built basing on Ekino designs. Components are decoupled, versioning is available.

Brand team uses components and update it as per design required.Design system will contain:

• Standards documented and signed off to be used across the company

• Component Library with the pre-defined set of components to be used by development teams.

  • Each component should be versioned separately and it should be possible to use only one Component from the library.

  • It should be possible to use the whole package of Components as well.

  • It should not be possible to change Components by development teams, only by Design System team

• Governance model that will define the process of Component Library extension
